Senior man and woman look at their home which has a sold real estate sign in front of it

The thought of downsizing can cause fear, worry and stress for seniors and their families.  To help alleviate these concerns, Ingrid and John Sullivan of Senior Downsizing Experts will conduct a “Downsizing Made Easy” seminar at The Aspens at Central Park in Grand Prairie on Thursday, June 9 at 2:30 pm.

“We want to ease the worries and make it more about upsizing your lifestyle than about downsizing your home,” says Ingrid.  The Sullivans will give suggestions for creating a plan that allows for a new chapter of life which requires less maintenance and allows for more freedom and fun.  They stress that careful planning and sound advice are crucial to a successful move.

How do you know if it is time for you to downsize?  Here are just a few of the considerations:

  • Do you have too much house for your current lifestyle?
  • Has maintaining your home become a financial or physical burden?
  • Does your home work with your current health situation and physical abilities?
  • Would a move improve your lifestyle?

Featured guest speakers will include specialists in Title and Escrow, Packing and Moving, Home Repair, and Estate Sales.  Admission is free but reservations are required.  Please register with The Aspens by calling 972-352-2161.
